Learn everything you need to know about English grammar to sound natural, correct and professional. Build your dream career and life with English.
Would you like to speak English correctly, say exactly what you mean and sound more professional?
English grammar is confusing. For example:
- What’s the difference between ‘I ate a massive cake’ and ‘I have eaten a massive cake’?
- What’s the difference between ‘I am looking at a massive cake’ and ‘I have been looking at a massive cake’?
- What’s the difference between ‘I used to eat a lot of cake as a child’ and ‘I would eat a lot of cake as a child’?
- Using the wrong grammatical structure can change the meaning of what you’re saying
- Using the wrong grammatical structure can make you sound less professional at work
But don’t worry. I’ve got you! I’m here to help you.
It’s time to make grammar easy.

How my method will help you speak English fluently and accurately
I have created a system that will help you learn how to use English grammar correctly.
I call it the comparison method.
I’m going to show you how different grammar structures compare to each other so that you can understand the difference between them and use them correctly in conversations.
English learners often ask me:
- What’s the difference between ‘would’ and ‘used to’?
- Should I use ‘had been’ or ‘have been’ in this situation?
- When should I use ‘will go’, ‘will be going’ and ‘shall go’ when talking about the future?
When you look at two grammar concepts that are quite similar and understand the difference between them, you learn more quickly. It also allows you to choose the right grammar structure in conversations more easily.
As a result, you will:
- speak English more fluently
- be more confident when you’re having conversations in English
- avoid misunderstandings that can happen when you use incorrect grammar
What will you learn?
1. English tenses
You will be able to talk about the present, the past and the future correctly, using the right tenses.
2. Conditionals
You will be able to talk about rules, assumptions and conditions correctly, using the zero, first, second and third conditional.
3. The passive voice
You will be able to use the passive voice correctly, and learn when not to use it.
4. Modal verbs
You will be able to ask for and give permission, and talk about possibilities correctly, using modal verbs.
5. Reported speech
You will be able to talk about what somebody else said correctly, using reported speech.
6. Linking your thoughts together
You will learn linking words and expressions to help you build logical and natural sentences, so that you always sound professional.
7. Persuading, convincing, negotiating
You will learn words, phrases and grammatical structures that will help you have debates, arguments, convince others and negotiate in a professional way.
8. Vocabulary for professional English
